The Conference will start in the days immediately after the Federal Budget is handed down and Canberra will be a hive of activity, debate and discussion. Add to this the unprecedented political antics in our nation’s capital yesterday and where else would you want to be at this time?!
With that in mind, our focus highlight for this issue of our Conference Bulletin features our Key Note Speaker, award winning political journalist and author Peter Hartcher.
Budget week in a federal election year means that Peter will have plenty to say about the tumultuous current domestic political landscape. He will also speak about the big issues of our times and of his career, which will include fascinating anecdotes on politics, economics and foreign affairs.
The Conference Program has been designed to cover all sectors of our industry including generic and topical issues. In addition the program includes presentations allowing you the opportunity to develop your general business and marketing skills.
Importantly for Customs Brokers: you will be able to earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points by attending various sessions throughout the program **
